My story
Yewelahawi, she brings the wind with her, (Sadie Hill Kelley) is a Wisconsin based photographer, artist and designer with a focus on portraits, sport photography, graphic design and Indigenous fashion. She has been capturing the essence of her life and those who idling on to the persistent urge to tell a story. Telling stories is a way that she tells the voices that are normally not heard. Yewelahawi comes from the people of Oneida, Kiowa, Numunuu (Comanche) , Mvskoke Creek, Shoshone Paiute, Cherokee and Absentee Shawnee. She was born and raised on the Oneida Nation Reservation in Wisconsin, but spilt her time also in various parts of Oklahoma with her family. Sadie recently graduated from Colorado Mesa University, with a Bachelors of Arts Degree in Political Science and a minor in Sport Management.
